This guy was a rookie and on a roof. Saw got heavy and he rested it on his thigh. mtmuley@mtmuley , I say that cuz its still been known to happen.
I'm really liking the Makita battery saws these days. I think they are safer than the cord saws. If binding occurs they don't jump around like the old ones.
Yep. My dad was the shop teacher and he always preached safety. He would cringe at some of the things that happen on framing jobs.Only takes a split second mistake.

Nope, weāre all independents. Gotta foot your own bills round these parts! You know the ol saying, āIf youāre gonna be dumbā¦āHow you expelling that one to workmans comp? The claim officer might be a little skeptical.
I saw that also. Guy was climbing a ladder with a pinned blade and somehow hit the trigger. He sunk it deep in his thigh. As I remember anyone caught doing it was instantly fired.Saw a guy bury a skilsaw in his thigh. Back in the pinned guard days. mtmuley
What happened??I had a bad day for fingers once. As @Nick87 said, it only takes a split second mistake. Of course, I prefer to blame it on a stupid mule. On the bright side, I should get a 10% discount on manicures.

I was pulling a bight of rope hooked to a mule through a trailer window. As I was doing it, I thought, āThis isnāt a good idea.ā Right then, the mule and a horse, already in the trailer, had a disagreement and the rope tightened around my hand as it pulled it against the window edge. I am lucky I didnāt lose all of my fingers. What happened??
