Pre-64 model 70
I got mine as a gift from an uncle in Pennsylvania that has since past away.
It's a 1949 standard model in what they call a "transition year" in that it has the older solid bolt handle but the "newer" rounded receiver as opposed to the older cloverleaf.
It's in Jack O"Connor's caliber .270.
When I got it, it wouldn't shoot better than 3 inches at 100 yards but I scrubbed the bore several times with JB compound from Amazon and it cut those groups in almost half.
If a certain lady becomes our next president, we may not have these guns long.
We are going down a slippery slope for more gun control.
