The only time that they can wreck stocks, is if you put a bunch of weight on them. I shot hundreds of rounds over them over a period of years with my 7 mags and other cartridges, without one, single issue. Lightly weight it and it is fine.Lead sleds wreck stocks....
if this is a light tapered barrel you need to let it cool between shots.
if the first two go where they should and the 3 wanders off it’s generally a barrel heating/bedding issue.
For a hunter, the first shot is the one that counts anyway. My best rifle will reliably shoot half MOA first shot.
Easy..... you take a white hole patch, stick it in the center of the black on a bullseye target, then pick up a cold rifle and see where you hit on the patch. Let the rifle cool down and repeat.I’m hoping all rifles shoot a one shot half moa group?!? One bullet hole to measure moa... how is this figured?
