280AI Savage UltraLight with Maven S5 update

I can find the weatherby 307 and mark 5 hunter. Hunter is a good looking rifle. I found a used kimber 84L mountain ascent 280AI. Has a vortex scope on it. I had a kimber 84 hunter 280AI. But sold it.
I have a Kimber 84L in 280ai.

My son rebarreled his Tikka into 280ai. It wasn’t hard to do.

I fount a old savage 110 30 06. I thought about it. But decided to buy one. If i can find a older 110 7mm mag. I am going to build a 7mm stw.

That bolt will smooth out in time. I have a pair of Ultralights and both bolts were rough when new. Now I hardly notice it, hopefully yours will smooth out also

Update on my ultralight: bolt lift is not nearly as difficult as when I first got the gun. Polished the bolt up a bit and it runs a lot more smooth as well. The scope I put on it was a dud out of the box (floor model...). Got it fixed and back on and the rifle dialed in. It's cloverleafing Barnes 127 LRX factory ammo at 100 yards and almost touching at 200. I think this gun is going to work out fine.

Another update on my ultralight 6.5 creedmoor: I'm not the best shot and I'm averging 1/4 to 1/3 moa at 400 yards. It's impressive.
