Mind sharing your process? I’ve got a couple antelope I’m struggling with, seems like some gunk kind of settled in the forehead bone and then the vertebrae attached the skull is still discolored.

Sure did like taking them out after a couple days and hosing them off and the gunk just all slipped off.

This is my process

-20 hours at 150 degrees, take out and pressure wash, change the water

-20 hours at 135 degrees, take out pressure wash and clean off any final pieces

- 20 hours at 125 degrees with 1 to 2 scoops of oxi-clean (2 for elk)

- 12 hours liquid paint on 40 volume (rinse off)

- 12 hours liquid paint on 40 volume ( wipe off with a wet rag)

I havent gotten the teeth part down yet, but I do all of my own skulls now.
