**New to This and Eager to Learn**

I had an unsuccessful draw for Elk (Cow) and Mule Deer (Buck). I did not want to use my PP so I put my codes in for PP as a 1st Choice and then the Codes for the Cow Elk and Mule Deer as my 2nd choices. We had a large group of hunters complete similar but separate applications. None of us were successful. Based on some research we thought the Cow tags were near a sure bet. What can we learn from this? We can't image many applicants dumped points for a Cow Tag. Could this lead us to believe that Tag Allocations reduced or Applicants Increased?

Drew my first choice local 3rd season buck, first choice local 2nd season cow, 2nd choice muzzleloader buck, and rifle ewe. 0 points remaining except moose and pronghorn. Gonna be a busy fall!

If I see that whilst stalking a pronghorn, I’m shooting it. There’ll be other antelope.

Wow, congratulations on drawing that tag. I bow hunted there in 2020 out of a drop camp. I guess that I didn’t ask the right questions but the outfitter didn’t tell me that I would have to hike 2.5 miles to begin my hunt. I wasted 14 pp on that hunt.
If you pm me I will try to tell you all that I can about my hunt and the area I was in.

My wife got a notification that CPW sent us a letter in the mail. I got home today assuming it was my tags but it was the ORV sticker.

Between when they arrive, and the time they take to process returns, you likely aren't going to make that cut. In the future, there's a button at the bottom of your tag award email where you can immediately surrender the license and they won't print it. Has to be done by June 3rd.

Yeah I remember. It just slipped my mind immediately and I didn't think about having four tags in September and one being a sheep tag taking full month priority.

Shoot, did I forget to gloat here? I drew a Unit 61 1R hybrid elk tag with 5pps, thought I was never going to hunt that unit unless it was helping a friend

411/52 elk either sex archery for me. Considering it was my 2nd choice with zero points, I'm hopeful, but not overly optimistic. Regardless, It's gonna be fun and I'm gonna hunt my ass off.
Anybody willing to share intel via PM about this area would be greatly appreciated.
