I seem to vaguely remember that they were going to combine all the Gunnison basin as a single management unit to simplify the management, since they were all similar already. I think the map you posted is in error and should include units 66/67 in the DAU. The preliminary population objective for DAU 57 is 17k, which is would be the combined total for those 3 previous DAUs (21, 22, 25). They were all about 6000 each previously.

Makes me wonder if it’s just a housekeeping item that needs to clear the commission real quick to finalize some boundaries?

Upon receiving my draw result I immediately went in and brought a ticket for the sheep tag. Also picked up one of the few remaining tickets for the rifle.
