Beg your pardon but 222 has beaucoup elk out of the junipers, if you know where to look. Deer not so much.

I drew a bull elk tag for area 221-223 and a 101-109 late buck tag.

Never a bad year for that tag, but you picked a really good year for antler growth. Can't wait to hear about it.

Odds of drawing for a resident are definitely larger than 1%, depending on unit and level.

That’s obvious but irrelevant to me.

No matter, I have all I want with a WY elk tag, NM deer tag & IL special draw deer tag. Plate is quite full. With UT, AZ, ME moose & WY deer/lope still pending, but not needed. All long shots.
