2023 Nevada Draw Results

Why would anyone read all the regulations when the chance of drawing anything is less than 1%. I only bother with the “new this year” section.
Odds of drawing for a resident are definitely larger than 1%, depending on unit and point level.

Guess I should have paid a little more attention. I went to website looking for results that were to be posted by 9:00 pacific time. Couldn't figure out why the results weren't up yet until I looked a little closer at it says 9:00 PM not AM.
Now 12 hours of waiting to find out I didn't draw anything.

Watching the I noticed that they posted the total entry combos for Res and NonRes applications. NR desert showed 1,638,806, NR Cali showed 1,243,272, and NR Mt Goat was 124,300.

Because I think the most points anyone can have for Mountain Goat is 2 or something like that. I know I have 11 sheep points and 1 mt goat point. My entries would be 121 for sheep and 1 for mt goat when they are squared.

Hmmmm.

Points square plus one per applicant should produce a number way over 1.5 million.

Sqrt of 1,638,806=1280.16???

There are a lot more than 1280 sheep applicants aren’t there? And they all have more than one point. What am I missing? Do we need to pitch the same fit that is being pitched about the MT draw?

Edit:I figured out what I did wrong. Face palm.

The math on adding squares doesn't work like that.
