Bro. You’re nuts if you can’t find them. They are cockroaches. Strap your velcros up tighter, bud.Yeah, but you think mule deer are like cockroaches in region 3, you obviously are delusional.
I took a 10 mile hike this weekend through some of best mule deer habitat you can find. I saw 3 mule deer, not too long ago you would see 100’s. Enjoy your season, it’s the best you will ever see.Bro. You’re nuts if you can’t find them. They are cockroaches. Strap your velcros up tighter, bud.
Ya but what about that ONE pivot?I took a 10 mile hike this weekend through some of best mule deer habitat you can find. I saw 3 mule deer, not too long ago you would see 100’s. Enjoy your season, it’s the best you will ever see.
One of the local biologist wants to break up one of the big "simplifications" he was instructed to implement because it's too big of a unit to manage now. It's too late for the change but it'll add more confusion to the mess for 2024. Funny because that was the exact comment I made when it was first proposed and he still moved forward with it.Good thing Hank simplified things.

I think this is what the kids call being "Rick Rolled".
Even the pivots are a little sparse the past year.Ya but what about that ONE pivot?
No kidding... first Rick Roll was 17 years agoI'm not sure anyone who could operate a computer when rick rolling came could be considered a kid today!
So definitely better to have 0 points than 1 point for both draws. I've heard that speculated but never actually seen it spelled out. Here’s the 2023 Montana NR combination draw stats
Big Game/Elk Combo Drawing Stats 2023 (Total apps 30,985)
3-2.2 PP 100% Draw (4,138 apps)
2 PP 83.9% Draw (10,259 apps, 8,612 successful) .2-1.8 PP 0% Draw (9,443 apps)
0 PP 60.2% Draw (7,055 apps, 4,250 successful)
2023 Deer Combo Drawing Stats 2023 (Total apps 15,929)
3-1.2 PP 100% Draw (5,799 apps)
1 PP 40.2% Draw (5,021 apps, 2,018 successful) .2-.8 PP 0% Draw (243 apps)
0 PP 53.6% (4,866 apps, 2,606 successful)
So not much incentive to buy preference points. What exactly was the logic to set aside licenses for zero points? Here’s the 2023 Montana NR combination draw stats

Prob outfitters that wanted return clients......So not much incentive to buy preference points. What exactly was the logic to set aside licenses for zero points?
That’s already covered by people able to purchase 2 preference points if they are going with an outfitter. The odds are better with 2 points compared to 0 points so it isn’t the guide and outfitter that benefits from the allocation to zero point holders.Prob outfitters that wanted return clients......
