I was just typing to ask how big a moose heart is or if you had a pic. That is a thing of beauty.Few pictures as he comes out. Work smarter not harder use the quad and winch to roll him over and some logs to block him up so he doesn’t roll over. And of course everybody favourite pictures of him loaded in the trailer lol

After a month straight asking the gas station attendant 2x a day if they had moose tags for sale yet you’d be asked to leave and wouldn’t be able to get one.Oh I know.
I cheat in the fact I just bag the trim and as needed I’ll thaw it clean it up grind it. It would really drag it out if I cleaned it all up and ground it now. But I grind in a different fat ratio for sausage vs burger so the system works good for me. Not sure how much bones out cleaned up meat there is after it’s done. A lot lol. In 2.5-3 hours tonight I did the two rib/neck sections and one front shoulder. Between that I’m up to 165.5 bone in meatCan't imagine how long it takes to process a whole moose. Any guess as to how much meat you'll get?
