Had a trip back to Cali for family reasons. Decided to get after some Lahontan Cuttys.

Made a quick trip recently for some Westslope cuts.

I'm sold. Might be ice fishing season before I have a free weekend, though. Depends on if I can fill my elk tag next week or not- and that's probably a long shot.

Let's revive the thread since I'm not out hunting.

I think this is my biggest brown to date. Guessing around 23-24", and it definitely beats my previous 22.5", but I didn't have a tape measure. This thing had some serious teeth, too, and tore up my finger pretty good while getting the hook out.

Fishing-wise 2020 has been a pretty darn good year for me. I've had to adjust to and learn how to fish a lot of new places. I miss my old haunts in Montana, but Utah has been good to me so far.

NOT the best photos. Last year while undergoing radiation treatment for cancer at the Mayo Clinic... there just happened to be fund raiser for Cancer Research. I donated 2 day trout fishing trip in northeast Iowa. Trip brought $1200.00. I was really excited. The winners came down in late September and limited out on trout both days. First time trout fisherpeople. The wife was the fishing fanatic. Took 30 trout back to Minnesota.
