Vortex Razor Spotting Scope

Deer/Elk Public Access - White Sulphur Springs Area
I hunted the little belts just north of there last year with a couple of my buddies the first week of rifle season. We saw 3 elk at daylight the opening morning at about 1200yards. Sounds like you need to make friends with some upperclassmen who live off campus. Make an arrangement and keep your stuff at their house. That's what I did several years ago while living on campus.- RedRaider13

Smart Phone versus dedicated GPS
My phones not that old, year or so maybe. It holds a charge for two days under normal use. OnX just seems to drain it. I'll take the battery replacement under advisement though.- RedRaider13

Unit 37 NM
I was next door in 36 2 weeks ago. Bulls were bugling, The elk above 7800ft were hearded up and heard bulls were moving in in some locations. There was no action below 7000 that I could find. Good luck!- RedRaider13
