Unit 37 NM

Anyone have any experience with this unit? i have a Muzzleloader tag in 3 weeks. I find elk and know the area well. my question has to do with the rut. When does the Rut start in this unit? when i was in there last week, nothing? it was still 90+ Degrees around 6000 ft. Second question is with so few elk in the area what kind of Rut will there be? does small amounts of help affect the rut? any info would be appreciated.

I was next door in 36 2 weeks ago. Bulls were bugling, The elk above 7800ft were hearded up and heard bulls were moving in in some locations. There was no action below 7000 that I could find. Good luck!

Was out again this morning and nothing. I guess ill keep going out and see what happens. Thanks for the info Red.

Know some people who were in Unit 34 last weekend. They said the bulls were bugling pretty good.
