Hey all!

New'ish to hunting. Grew up around guns my whole life, but never really stepped into hunting until recently. I'm 32 with 2 young sons. A few months back I got tired of us all sitting around watching TV and playing video games, so we made a huge shift at my house into the outdoors.

Seems this forum is quite active, which is great because I'm able to be on this at work haha.

Welcome aboard (also from work )!! I gotstarted at about the same time as you ( I was 33 the first time I went hunting) and have been lucky enough to share with my kids as well. Nothing beats those experiences!!

Good choice! Your boys will gain a lot of know-how and confidence from being outdoors. I don't think there is anything better you could do for them, than to take them hunting. If you haven't already, listen to Randy's HuntTalk podcast and Steve Rinella's MeatEater podcast, and if you can, have the boys listen to them too.
