December 30th.
Getting ready to head to the office, just getting light. Too lazy to scrape frost so was going to hit the remote but noticed this guy. Wife was heading out for a run, but we decided to watch him for a while. Watched him for over a half hour and figured it must be the secondary rut. Finally started the truck and he never left. Wife decided to try a sneak and actually got pretty close.
Finally, a bedded doe got up, walked away with him following.

Wife likes to take pics of deer in the yard when I’m off hunting someplace.

I believe there is a deer in the second pic but it is definitely harder to find.
