I know the western side of the state already suffered through a tough winter. Now it looks like Wyoming is facing abnormal draught conditions in parts of the state as well, especially in the NE corner. Any thoughts on how this will affect the pronghorn herd?

Well, to answer your question as asked , our beer is fine on draught. We have some great craft breweries here.

As far as the drought, it should not affect herds this year but may very well affect fawn production next year and horn growth. If winter range does not get the moisture it needs to sustain herds we may well have loss this winter.
Monsoon rains are moving in for a several days so hopefully it will make it up to the NE. We have been very dry here in SC too and finally getting some good showers. Further west appears to be getting some of this monsoon rain too so hopefully before fall sets in we'll be lush and green again.

Obviously my spell-check knows what's really on my mind.

Looking at the current drought map for Wyoming, there is a relitively small amount of the state in a moderate drought and way less in severe category.
That being said, those areas that are, have a history of those conditions most summers.
As this is looking like a regular occurrence in those regions, it's likely most game there have adapted to the point that it shouldn't alter their usual behavior.

Unless it gets much worse toward winter and then carries over to spring, I doubt it is a serious concern this fall.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I have some ranching contacts south of Sundance , I'll ask how things are fairing around there.
Drought now and through the season would likely concentrate antelope to favorable forage and water.
