I’m pretty new to Sturgill. That said his new stuff reminds me a bit of Hank Jr in the late 80’s when he had the horns and guitars and fiddles. A bit bluesy, a bit show-off, and different. I like it.

OK... I've done my two times through plus a half a dozen more. About a quarter is good enough I actually want to listen to it, about half of it is tolerable, and remainder is noise. I still have not watched to anime

It's definitely worth watching the anime, at least for the first three or four songs... a very strange experience for sure.
