Woodworking Hunt Talkers?

Is it just the picture and my eyes or does the color seem reverse with a darker outer layer and a lighter heart?

Finished up the p-51 mustang. Made from tongue depressors, some plexiglass canopy, and aluminum for the blades that does spin.
