Other than a few bad cases of cabin fever going around, I haven't heard anyone say too much about the winter out there this year...
I know some/most of the states out there were terrible dry last year and talk of a bad winter would stress, or kill, a lot of critters.

Just wondering how the winter has treated the West this year? Snowfall? Temps? Moisture? Averages? Kill off?...

Still winter here.

fairly easy winter but the transition from hard browse to lush greens can be very hard on deer populations in the spring-not to mention the roadkill in spring that occurs with green up.

we still have snow on the ground here in Indiana. . . .little over 3 weeks till turkey season and last year at this time it was Africa hot! I actually played golf with my Dad last Saturday in 60 degree weather and Sunday night it snowed 10 inches. . .if you don't like the weather here in Indiana just give it a day or so and it will change.

Kinda light in CO. Geese are out of here & heading north. It is to be 65 today! Californians are already turning on their sprinkler systems.Really though, the lakes are low, snowpack is low - we need snow and rain, then some more snow. We already had a fire.
