Retired law enforcement. Stayed in patrol, retired as a lieutenant. Did all the fun stuff; 20 years in swat, fire arms instructor, defensive tactics instructor, active shooter instructor. Got paid to go to instructor schools in pistol, shot gun, patrol rifle, precision rifle, sub machine gun. Tough duty.
Pulled over watch with the Secret Service for both Bushes and Clintons.
Started guiding part time in Alaska, using my Vacation time, before I retired. Now I guide all summer in Alaska. When I get back to Oregon I guide upland bird hunts.

I'm a wastewater and water treatment certified operator with a degree in environmental engineering. Started out my career working on remediation of Superfund sites, railyard, underground storage tanks and landfill gas extraction design and build projects all over the US. Got tired of the travel and living out of a suitcase when I switched to my current field and public service. I also have side contracts operating smaller systems for smaller communities. Couldn't be happier, I love the work.
