Whats a "BIG BUCK"

Here in the land of the cottontail subspecies of WT, nice is 100+, big is 120+, and monster is 140+. And a dink here is something I would be embarrassed to admit I measured!

While hunting, I'm lucky to see more than 2 bucks all season that meet "nice" or better. And my wife still doesn't understand why I "need" to hunt out of state every year.

Hi All!

Good question. What is a "BIG BUCK" to me? At the start of the season it is a buck whether Mule or White Tail that is one bigger than the biggest I already have hanging on the wall, as the season draws to a close it is any buck to help fill the freezer.

Any buck big enough to impress my boys. Their eyes light up and they high five anything that goes down. For myself I like to better the last season.
