What won't you hunt?

High school age and shortly after there were a few stragglers to be found. Never thought twice about shooting them. After the near heart attack when the covey broke, of course! Let's call it over 40 years now.

Consistently found a couple coveys outside Macomb for several years in a row about 6 years ago. I let them be.

Fox; they’re too friendly and smart - I like watching them too.

Mule deer are probably my favorite animal to hunt but I’ll never shoot a muley doe. I don’t have any issues shooting whitetail does for some extra meat, and I’ve shot a few.

I’m not interested in Africa at all.

On the top of my list for things I want but haven’t taken yet is a bighorn ram, a Montana moose, a good lion, and a bison. I’ll probably never be able to take a grizzly, and that’s okay, but I would really love a nice boar grizzly.

I just gotta ask why wouldn't you shoot a muley doe?

Lots of reasons. Mainly I don’t think we should be killing muley does because I want more mule deer on the landscape, not less. Also it’s about as challenging as shooting a prairie dog.

Muley does are a no for me. I would happily melt my barrel on baboons though. They just seem like they were made to take a bullet
