I have a friend that wants me to hunt CO with him with muzzel loaders. I have a couple cva's. But i shoot sst's out of them. But i dont think i can use them in CO. So what do yall recommend. And no scopes right

No sabots in CO or scopes. When we use the smoke pole we run hornady great plains conical bullets through them. They work great for us and are cheap to buy.

I shoot Thor Full Bore Conicals out of my Accura V2.

Myself and my hunting partner have had success with the Hornady FBP. He runs a Knight and I have a TC Omega. I watched him put one through the lungs of a super old mulie in 2017 at 190 yards ( using a peep sight) in Colorado. Deer ran about 60 yards and piled up.
