This has probably been done before but I always find these threads interesting.

What do you do to earn a living?

I work for a manufactures rep firm selling electrical products to distributors. The industry we cover is coal, power plants, wind farms, chemical and gas. We do mostly power / distribution equipment.

I work in Land Surveying and Engineering.

In other words...I develop wildlife habitat for human use :(

Safety Director for a public school system. I also have a have a small consulting business which pays the hunting bills.

I can tell you what I have been since the secretary quit in November........................................I could get mad, but I will just get even next fall:D Wearing a skirt everyday is starting to piss me off a little..............I mean what?

I actually just do all the accounting and such at a plumbing/heating service company, here next to 2 big ski resorts.

When someone from another part of the country gets one of our bills for their 2nd home, they usually have a fit. Is $110 a hour expensive for labor?

Chump change for Jose and his jetsetters.

I attempt to operate a drywall/painting/stucco company by pressing 1 for english.

I spend my time with high school students preparing them and parents for post high school and college, in 6 different school districts. Each summer I spend 7 weeks in Laramie with 60 of the little darlings on campus during summer school.

Full time student, working on my AAS in energy technology. Hoping to graduate this summer and get on with one of the wind farms here in MT.
To pay bills right now, I flip burgers at a bowling alley.

Does anyone like their job?

I hate mine. I only stay for the 4 day work weeks, come and go as I please, large amounts of time off and they pay 100% health prems for me and my wife. Keeps me sucked in here.

BLM biologist....picking up dead birds and bats under wind turbines in Montana.

I like mine, I own a pest control business in central AZ. I'm by myself all day long and make my schedule as I please. Rarely do I work an 8 hour day.

I do a little guiding here and there as well. That's taboo on this site now-a-days, so I keep it on the DL.

I am finishing up my AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology.....just because the owner won't sell me the place with out an Electrical degree of some sort. Anyways, I do a lot of work with windfarms in MT and WY. Mostly do the takeoffs for the collection fields and foundation grounding. I have some pretty good contacts out that way. When you're ready to start looking let me know.
