What were your thoughts on “Searching for John Dewitt”?

It was a very insightful and moving book that reflects the selflessness of the era. Incredible that the letters home often painted a picture that everything was fine for the soldier, and always showing more concern for those back home. Love the line speaking to soldiers that realized they held the destiny of nations.
