I’ve had this book sitting on the shelf for a couple years and I’ve finally gotten around to reading it.Reading River of Doubt written by Candice Millard. Only a few chapters in - enjoyable read thus far.
Summary from Amazon:
Fantastic choice. Re-read this at night in my tent on my last hunt in SE Colorado, not too terribly far from where the Comanche made their winter camps along the Arkansas.
Always thought this would make for a great historical movie or a Netflix type limited episodes series.
