Enjoyable easy read. A bit too fanciful in some ways, and too realistic in others. Character development was less than I expected for all but one character. Similar to a few of the other books by Sir Abby, the beginning and ends were the best parts. Not nearly enough monkey wrench gang activity in the world as there should be (<- quite possibly the most ironic statement I've ever made considering my profession).

Super interesting read from the earlt 70s. This guy was researching the escape of Martin Bormann to So. America for years, when the West German government decided that his remains were found in a construction site in Berlin. This book is his researched rebuttal.

I love getting good old books for .25 to $1.00 at library sales.

The Old Man and the Boy" by Robert Ruark is such a classic. I’ve decided to read more newspapers and magazines to stay in touch with the reality and different perspectives. These days, I’m planning to call this taste of home phone number and make a subscription with them. It’s great to have access to their delicious recipes and cooking tips whenever I need inspiration in the kitchen

The sequel to Dalva. Better in many ways, in terms of writing quality and storyline. Still told through journal entries. but it was not a good read for me at my current stage of life. It is a better series, I would think, to read in retirement or HS.

A collection of articles and short works written 30-40 years ago. Interesting to see how many of them predict the very conservation predicaments we find ourselves in today. He writes about Canada, but virtually identical issues in the Western US.
