Pretty interesting read.

One of the better stories I've read. Classic Harrison. Rich family, fancy wine, great geographic descriptions, sex, characters you both enjoy and loath. It starts at the end which is captivating bit then jumps back in time and takes a very circuitous route forward.

A buddy gifted me this three book set. It has been great so far. Lots of traditional bowhunting stories and records for Pope and Young that were filled with traditional equipment.

I'm enjoying this book about the early contact between Europeans and Native Americans in the lower Maine area in the early 1600s. This book starts out by giving some history and then into the Samoset meeting the colonists at Plymouth Plantation.

I recently reread Bushwhacked piano. I was surprised at how diverse it was in terms of subject matter. I really love the later stuff like Keep the Change and Nothing but Blue Skies. Always love reading about other folks lives unraveling (in fiction) and it makes me feel like my own train wreck is a little less severe.

I’ve been reading this in fits and starts due to limited time and energy. It’s a good read so far and hope I can finish it up before it’s due back at the library next week. It amazing how much time passes yet things still seem the same.
