I just got a copy of the exact job description today. I'm to prepare a management plan to control cheatgrass and squarerose knapweek in Skull Valley.

Much of the valley is dominated by cheatgrass. The attempt is come up with a plan that uses the existing permittees livestock to 1) reduce the size of fires and 2)impact cheatgrass to benefit native species, especially salt desert schrum community species.

Just found out that to take the job, I'll have to attend a two week field course in Deer Lodge, MT. Hopefully, I'll be able to meet up with a few of the MT boys then!
