I'm not sure why you need CDS for a 1.5x5 though. Although I bet you could work up some drops for a woods gun at 25, 50, 100 yards.

I will humbly admit I’m cool with it being removable. Suppose next time I should read instead of just looking at the pics. It’s a bad habit I picked up back in the 80’s while browsing the JC Penny bra catalog.

I tried to jump on Leupold and buy a VX3 1.5-20 and was wondering why almost all models were “no longer for sale.” Anyone know if they’ll be using the same glass as the VX5HD and VX6HD? It’ll be a screaming deal if they do and keep the price point about the same as the current VX3i. I’d love to pick up a couple low power models with HD glass and CDS turrets but don’t need to jump up to the price or magnification range of the VX5.
