High-End Rifle Scope Discussion

Lots of good scopes on the market. I have been very happy with the Trijicons on my two most used rifles.

No glass is made in the U.S. It hasnpt been made here for maybe 30 years. It's made in Japan, Korea, Germany.

A buddy of mine who makes long range rifles uses the higher end Vortex. I don't have any; last three scopes were two Tracts, and a Swarovski (my wife is a total nut about optical quality and I dare not incur her wrath; just kidding, want to get her the best).

I'm not trying to be some kind of Vortex advocate, as I don't own any, but he is a pretty big deal in the LRH community and is happy with their high end scopes.

For the recored, we have Leupold Mark IV (solid for decades), Zeiss V4 on our .22s, good so far, Tract too soon to know, Leupold VX5, good so far.
