How about posting pics from your work or the view you see all day. I know some of you guys work outside so this could be very interesting. Here are some pics from inside and out of my office.

This is the view thru the door:

This is the view from the corner towards the eliptical. I do 30 minutes a day during lunch.

I either stare out the window at the river:

Or drool at my new calendar:

no windows & a messy desk

Dinkshooter, I don't have a problem with housecats invading my office.;)

The office views for 2-3 months of the year are not great...just a cube.

The other 9-10 months make up for it.

Buzz, Oak... Those are fantastic photos.

But come on.. those scenic views are not from your office.

I went to Vegas on business, and don't count the photos from Spearmint Rhino as views from my office!

I'm not allowed to take photos in my work place for security and confidentiality reasons:(
But there is some pretty neat stuff that goes on in there, a few here maybe have seen small clips of the inside of the place and that's as far as it gets. 2 years ago they actually had a tour for family and one other guest per employee and my family actually got to see what it is I do.

Greenhorn, so you admit you went to the Spearmint Rhino in Vegas, when you going to tell the whole story? Too funny to keep a secret, at least to me:p

Greenhorn, what kind of "work" were you doing at the Spearmint Rhino? I agree with Buzz...

The office manager at the company I work for says that if it weren't for the invoices I send her twice a month, she wouldn't know I worked for them. That's the way I like it.

Here I am, hard at work at my "desk":

LOL that's funny. Yes i did see it as I stood in security for 45 minutes and definitly thought about that night! You have to sell that story to a movie writer...

Oak, I am very envious of you! I looks to me as there would be a lot more good than bad with your job.

I guess I am jealous of every one with a mountain veiw, I made a wrong turn somewhere.

This is what I have:
One window, it faces south so the sun shines right into my eye's so I have to close the blinds. Basicly in the winter I never see the light of day, good times...

View of the shop out my door. I spend about half a day in the shop fabricating, and the other half on the computer or doing paper work.

hardscrabble, do you guys still hand bend the duct components and bang em together on site. Used to be the noisiest trade on the project.

Yeah, for the most part that is still how we do it. Depending on the project we may do more assembly in the shop. The Vicon machine you see in the pic. can be added on to do all the steps of straight duct fab. inclucing bending. I am trying to talk the owners into getting it but, it is a big investment.

And yes, we are always the loudest guy's on a job site. The nosie of sheet metal work is iritaing to most and I can understand why.

Here is my view from 9-5....lovely downtown St Paul

MNHunter, I will be landing at about 12:30 tomorrow and the girlfriend won't be flying in until 4-something. Why don't you pick me up, take me to lunch and drop me off at her house mid-afternoon. thanks bud, I owe you one....;):D

Oh yeh, no windows in my cubicle and this is all I can contribute.:D
