Selective outrage fed by the press is not a basis for deciding for whom to vote. Kankles, however, might be.

While Benghazi was a tragedy, you should also hold congress accountable for slashing the budget for embassy security, and I expect you to not vote for anyone who was part of the regime that allowed 60 Americans to die in various embassy attacks in the 8 years prior to this administration.

I understand it wasn't all her, but, the rest aren't running for the most powerful job in the world....no trust for this woman...

I agree that no one needs Atkisson to vet Hildy's sleaze or disassociation with veracity.

For me, I think this goes for The Donald as well.....and maybe the whole lot of them!!

A unicorn might be able to win too. Both are as unlikely as the other in todays R party, unfortunately. Trump and Cruz are what we get when the party sells itself to Evangelicals and Tea Baggers.

The thing is Trump could be that unicorn. I can't believe he's not a smart or serious man but he doesn't seem to be trying to hard. Maybe there's a method to his madness but I don't get it. He's got more than enough interest. He doesn't need anyones money. While he's thumping his nose at the RNC he could take the time to compose a decent speech and share some of the details about how he's going to do things.

I find this thread rather entertaining, and unlike someone else in a previous post who "was surprised there's a single democrat vote" I was not.

If there was a "Hillary" or a "Bernie" vote box put up, Bernie would most likely lead on this site, as per their views most of the lefties here lean toward socialism.

Someone in a previous post stated that the choice of candidates was rather lack luster this time around....Is this the first election you have voted in? What about the last 2 elections? There a case can clearly be made for "picking a lesser evil" rather than voting for the best candidate. There simply was no best candidate.....

I'm guessing this was a tongue in cheek statement, b/c we all know 'media matters' is a brick wall to protect the progressive libs. Its good to see S.A., someone on the inside, share what we have known for a long time.

Not really tongue in cheek so much as another lesson in how it only takes 30 seconds on Google to find BS about BS about BS about BS. I've always found it's best to try and think on my own two feet with critical and analytical reasoning. Do I cite others for a proposition (like Leopold, et al)? Yes, but not as authority; only in the context of a discussion about the proposition.

The reason I set it up that way was to try and focus the discussion on Trump vs the field. I felt that if I gave any more choices it would take us away from that. Of couse it went off the rails a little anyway, but that's part of the fun. It has been a pretty entertaining thread.

Just a word of caution from a guy who did not know that Tea Bagger carried some derogatory sexual connotations; "Don't use that term on a nationally distributed radio podcast."

You will get emails from a lot of PO'd Tea Party folks who are nut hurt.

Other than that bit of warning, carry on .......

Oh ya, point taken!

I'm not surprised either. This site over the years has drifted hard left. Come on Hunt Talk Bernie supporters. Come out of the closet and tell everyone why you think he would make a good President, I'm listening.:D

I must lead a very sheltered life because I still don't know what that conotation might be, I'm sure I don't want to know either.
