what is a trad cap gun?Just a spin on Jim's thread on flintlocks. How many of you shoot/hunt with traditional percussion or musket cap guns? Post up some picture of them.
Mine's an TC Renegade I bought in the early '80s.

That long rifle has a drum percussion. I can’t make out anything on the right side that indicates flint conversion. So reckon it was an original cap gun. 1830, damn! Like The First Original cap gun.This is my vintage 1830s cap lock. Made by Joseph Sells in WV. 40 cal.still a shooter.
