I always suspected that several members created alter-ego accounts on here just so they could argue with themselves. It’s now confirmed!

Sadly, it's not uncommon. I have seen that phenomenon more than once, though usually multiple identities is done to make supportive buddies for abusive behavior. Sick.

Having formerly taught at rural high schools, this does not surprise me. The cream doesn't always float to the top in school board elections. Too often it's the stuff you see floating in toilet bowls.
