Guess I'm just a little tired of having to apologize or tip toe around what people dont like. For me, personally, I agree. I've seen quite a few animals die, and I'm not sure an arrow or a bullet is that much different, although I don't exactly go looking for this stuff.
However, I think content like that can be used to great effect when its put in front of people who aren't used to seeing animals die, for purposes not in our favor.
Just my opinion.
You don't have to tiptoe. You just shouldn't strap a gopro to a spear and then upload the results to YouTube.Guess I'm just a little tired of having to apologize or tip toe around what people dont like.
I understand your point. The animals expire quickly most of the time. Nature shows are way more gruesome. You can watch nat geo and see lions eat a zebra alive. I guess non hunters local to me are more intrigued about hunting then on the fence about hunting. That’s a naive response. Non hunters are having their opinions of hunters shaped and reshaped every day. Pretty sure Al Qaeda doesn’t care what people think nor are they concerned about the future of terrorism.
He'll I've seen worse watching an animal get hit on the roadI understand your point. The animals expire quickly most of the time. Nature shows are way more gruesome. On the fence folks can quickly be turned off.I guess non hunters local to me are more intrigued about hunting then on the fence about hunting.
But who does that??? The non hunters I know don't watch hunting videos. For me, personally, I agree. I've seen quite a few animals die, and I'm not sure an arrow or a bullet is that much different, although I don't exactly go looking for this stuff.

If I were an organization with an agenda, that video would be low hanging fruit.....But who does that??? The non hunters I know don't watch hunting videos.
IMOIf I were an organization with an agenda, that video would be low hanging fruit.....
Fair point.IMO
If they see any video of an animal being hunted getting killed its low hanging fruit. So a rifle bullet dropping an elk or deer at 50 yards and the hunters celebrating isn't low hanging fruit? How about a nice 30 yard passing shot on a goose and the hunter pillows the bird ? or he doesn't pillow it? Like it really matters.
I to me so many of these you tube videos are just hunting porn they just are not a real reflection of what or how people hunt. I am not scared of anti folks viewing it as much as I am of new and inexperienced hunters thinking thats how its done and said etc.Fair point.
I still think a spear with a gopro is and exceptionally bad look, but to each his own, I suppose.
