Legal or not, feeding grizzlies in a residential neighbourhood is f'n crazy.

Shows how little that lady cares about her neighbours and the animals themselves who have no fear of humans and will probably have an encounter with people that leads to one or more of them being killed.

. Your rights do not trump your neighbors’ rights to enjoy their yards or walk down a public street without worrying about being mauled by the grizzly bears you are bringing into the neighborhood.
This !

children walking to and from school
families walking to and from church, work, shopping
people jogging or walking just to enjoy the day
barbecuing in their back yard
children playing in their back yard

Our communities work together, all of us, to keep bears and moose, out of town.

If you are determined to "talk to the animals" then take your treats into the wilderness, far away from town, feed them, talk to them, pick ticks off of them, just dont bring them back to town with you.

Yea im a radical because when I buy a property I expect it to be mine to do with it what I please. Not the city, state, or federal govt to tell me what I can and can't do on it.
two things.

1. HOAs tell you what to do.
2. Just try not paying your taxes and you'll learn about property rights real fast. (Well, in 2-3 years, anyway.)

Can we not turn a goofy thread about a weird lady who feeds animals into William Wallace screaming, "Freedom!!!"

Wait until someone is mauled in her subdivision.

Then sue her ass silly with a civil suit, you'll get her house, she'll be in a padded room at the State mental hospital, and the offending bears will get euthanized.

Ain't property "rights" grand?
This. If someone gets chewed and it’s a bear she has habituated, she’ll lose her ass in civil court.

I bailed hours ago.
Instead of trying to understand what I was meaning to say I was called a radical and compared to ruby ridge and some crackhead cooking meth in his home. Just because j didn't agree with certain laws. Never said I wouldn't follow those laws if I was in that situation just plainly do not agree. Sue me!
I didn't start the insults on this thread I was receiving them.

Last response was excellent. You have your beliefs that do not echo others.

I did not agree with you, but I totally agree with the point you were trying to make. You chose the wrong thread or subject to make it.

“The woman, the officers reported, kept a collection of bear scat, which was stored on cookie sheets.”

Well, at least we have a tip on what snacks she serves up to nosy investigators...

Mrs45, "If you get converted to bear scat, should I keep you on cookie sheets?"

Me, "Just until you run it through the oven. Then scatter me in the woods."

You can't make feeding moose illegal. Property rights matter and if a person wants a 1000lbs of grain in their yard or a compost pile thats their right. Ur gonna have idiots like this lady no matter what... trampling personal property rights is not gonna stop that.
So I guess if that Moose/Deer/Elk is on your property and you're feeding it you should be able to shoot it too. You know, private property rights and all that.
