Timothy Tredwell had an aura about him too. It’s weird how many people have a kink for befriending dangerous animals like bears and tigers.
“The woman later told officers she had “an aura” that both allowed her to communicate with animals and also prevented her from being hurt or attacked. But if she was attacked, she told them she was “OK” with being killed.”
Ditto for Roy Horn. Though he did survive.Timothy Tredwell had an aura about him too.
Treadwell was indeed crazy, but was considered to be delicious. She must share some of Timothy Turdwell's genes. Nuts!
And ended up on a cookie sheet.Treadwell was indeed crazy, but was considered to be delicious.
You are supposed to burn those on a campfire. See previous thread from a couple months back for instructions.Do you not?
But are you nervous about running into Brad Pitt in the wilderness? We have a female Dr Dolittle up here by the name of Claudia Hehr. She claims that she is able to communicate with animals because she was raised by alcoholic parents.
Our ancestors were very invested in the "Animal Spirit World" and we have many rules that are animal/spirit related. Such as : Women are not allowed to sew caribou skins in an igloo on the sea ice in winter. We are not specifically told what our penalty will be if dont obey this rule however.
I am personally more inclined to let my Win 71 speak for me when talking to an animal is required.
Question for others here, possibly more so for Canadians and those in Alaska.
I always have people ask me how nervous I am when I am confronted by a Wolverine ? The odds of me running into Brad Pitt in the wilderness is possibly better than seeing a Wolverine . How many Wolverines do you guys see each year ? Maybe our Wolverines are just shy.
Back to the story in this thread. We DONT WANT bears OR moose in town, so we do everything possible not to encourage that, so no one feeds them.
So IMHO the lady in the story is not playing with a full deck, but who am I to judge, I have chosen to live in a place that always looks like Texas does right now.
At least you guys in Texas have daylight
Hey ... it could happen! My wife and her friend ran into Starman Jeff Bridges at the Boiling River YNP wilderness soaking hotpot. But are you nervous about running into Brad Pitt in the wilderness?
Has nothing to do with personal property rights and everything to do with public safety. There are non-feeding laws on the books in most states already for this exact reason. Habituated wildlife damage property and injure or kill people. You can't make feeding moose illegal. Property rights matter and if a person wants a 1000lbs of grain in their yard or a compost pile thats their right. Ur gonna have idiots like this lady no matter what... trampling personal property rights is not gonna stop that.
She doesn't seem too convinced as to the efficacy of the "aura"It’s weird how many people have a kink for befriending dangerous animals like bears and tigers.
“The woman later told officers she had “an aura” that both allowed her to communicate with animals and also prevented her from being hurt or attacked. But if she was attacked, she told them she was “OK” with being killed.”
I agree the only one punished is the animal. But If i own land and its not in the deed or a HOA rule. I can put whatever I want on my land if animals come to it thats unfortunate but its my land not the states or the federal governments. To punish the people is trampling their personal property rights and thats a slope nobody is gonna go down in Wyoming. And one they would never win in court. Unless the person confesses to doing it solely to feed bears.Has nothing to do with personal property rights and everything to do with public safety. There are non-feeding laws on the books in most states already for this exact reason. Habituated wildlife damage property and injure or kill people.
But good luck finding a US or States Attorney willing to prosecute those cases. Unless someone sues after one of the above instances, they are almost always dismissed. The only one usually punished is the animal.
I agree with this 100% to. But good luck proving it in court. Until the non-feeding laws read that you cannot put edible food on your own personal property they can't do nothing about it cause they can't prove it. And to pass a law that reads that way is to trample a person's personal property rights. Which im 100% against. There are non-feeding laws on the books in most states already for this exact reason.
Listen, sheriff, you can't trample my personal property rights to conduct chemical experiments on my own private property in my own private kitchen just 'cuz it smells like meth and the pusher said he got it here. I got propty rights! And to pass a law that reads that way is to trample a person's personal property rights. Which im 100% against.
Totally different. Meth is against the law. Putting edible food by a deck is not.Listen, sheriff, you can't trample my personal property rights to conduct chemical experiments on my own private property in my own private kitchen just 'cuz it smells like meth and the pusher said he got it here. I got propty rights!
