The official 2025 Wyoming elk hunt for Dave N thread.

Good luck Dave . Just had my right shoulder rebuilt last week . Feeling pretty good about it , no real pain now , as long as I take Tylenol . I say get it fixed now rather than later .
But you're right , without my wife I couldn't have done it.
Same here. 3 shoulder surgeries. I could not have recovered from any of them without someone at home with me. My wife is a angel !!

It's not just the recovery time. My wife and daughter both had shoulder surgery and I know that being alone here isn't going to work. It's simply not an option.
Didn't read all of the responses.
I waited too long on my left shoulder, did more damage which escalated everything form the surgery to rehab. But the rehab went well, listened/learned. Now my rt shoulder acted up, decided to try the rehab(PT) exercises, strengthen.
It does help. If you stick to repetitive strengthening moves.
Seems like you have been doing that to get in shape. Good luck.

Feeling pretty decent today. 4 Aleve yesterday morning and nothing since. I can tell something is there but it's just a minor uncomfortable thing. Still going to take it as easy as possible until I see the doctor Wednesday. I'll put the plow on my atv tomorrow for the snow they say is coming and that's pretty easy. The bad part is today is another great day for dialing in my rifle. No wind at all for a change. Not going to risk a flare up from the recoil. At least I can move around without cussing when I move my arm!
