Thanksgiving food prep thread

Finally done and I can relax at home now. Dad liked his pie and I was also on turkey duty. Roasted it in the oven breast side down for an experiment trying to keep the juices in the breast meat. Let it rest about a half hour when it was done then turned it right side up and then back under the broiler to brown the breast skin. It actually did turn out juicy! It was all gone when I went home. Dad "let" me take some pie home. Now if I could just get out of Christmas I would be just fine. One holiday is enough for me.
