Just wanted to share for those wondering if testosterone replacement is worth it. I found out I have a brain tumor and it was limiting testosterone due to it impinging on my pituitary gland. My levels were less than 100. I am a crossfit cult member and just thought I was getting older. My legs were always tired and my lifts and endurance were far from what they used to be even though I have never stopped working out my entire life. Once I got on the juice, the sun was brighter, my energy got better and I can go harder than ever before. I was a little sketched out about mood swings and and the other side effects but I have only noticed one. I wake up with a raging stiff again. It has been life changing. If you have low T, go for it.

How long have you been on it? All of the above was true for me as well, but I also went through a stretch where my mood swings were out of control and I was angry like I hadn’t been since I was a late teenager. Plus, I had about a six week stretch of near daily suicidal ideation.

I've been on it for a year nearly to the day. Insurance covers it for me, but I would pay out of pocket for it knowing what I know now.

Testosterone therapy is generally viewed as useful with a reduction in risk of some cancers though a large study that ran for over a decade saw an increase in other cancers.

Chose your primary care physician carefully and then your specialist carefully and they can give better guidance for your specific situation than any of us fellow hunters.

?? You wrote your own Rx? You realize there are misguided doctors out there that have not kept up with recent studies so you need to be diligent. They are not Gods. They make mistakes. Amputate the wrong leg, write an RX that is not safe with prior Rx you are on. But, you do you since the keyboard is your best friend in life.

I sincerely hope the brain tumor is manageable.

Yea everyone seems to enamored with the morning wood here and skipped over the fact borny said he has a brain tumor! Praying that it is manageable like elkmag said.
It's too risky to go after for the only implication now being low T and the dow.falls that come with that. I'm getting two MRI's a year to make sure it doesn't grow.
