A friend of mine did this sculpture in bronze and hung it in a church in Waco, Texas. He took a picture and didn’t even notice the 3 shadows that are present in the photograph…

Screech owls have taken up residence in my pole barn. Last year they hatched out 2, this year 4. The parents are just out of the picture. Cute but messy.

How big an entrance do they have/need?
(I really want to get up a barn owl box where I am).

After this week's draw I have a NM muzzleloader deer tag and a CO muzzleloader pronghorn tag. Time to start practicing with the old peep sight. I've always used 300gr Thors decided to give the 250gr's a go and try to get rid of a bit of drop. It worked!View attachment 278614

No, it was discovered after the crucifix was in place, and the shadow was noticed in the picture..

The adults come and go in the open fronted barn throughout the year. They nest in the attic of another old shed 15 yards away. The opening to the attic is triangular shaped and about 10" at the widest part. As soon as the little ones start testing their wings they make it to the pole barn.
