Rottweilers had a bad rep when I was growing up, but my experience with several friends who had them is that they are really great dogs.

Really I feel like they had an amazing PR team lol

Definitely on the top of our list of dogs after corgis

Rottweilers had a bad rep when I was growing up, but my experience with several friends who had them is that they are really great dogs.

I think some of that has to do with them always being the vicious guard dog in tons of films and TV shows the Doberman suffers the same reputation. I get it they do look intimidating but my experience has been they're big silly goober's who are fairly smart (when they wanna be). They definitely have a built in drive to protect but with proper socialization and training are no more aggressive then a bunch of other breeds.
