It was like a brief second of disappointment, cause I didn’t notice the broken antler before taking the shot (still would have tho), that quickly turned into feeling like i shot a pretty cool buck that probably has a pretty interesting story.

Not a special pic or even a very good one. But played with the spotting scope again today. I was looking for a bald eagle but no luck. I had to settle for the ass of a goose. I still need to figure out some things but I'm amazed that I can take a pic of a small animal 1500 yards away with a phone and get this type of quality. That kowa 88 was one of the best things I've purchased. I'm lugging this thing to the range, on random hikes and hunting. 7.5 pounds with the tripod, and worth every ounce. I was thinking of getting a 553 but I think I enjoy this one too much to ever leave it home.
