Right, we have grown up girls also, very early twenties so I'm not ready to be a cool g pa quite yet. Hopefully my Dad keeps that crown for a few more years

Never saw a deer on my side of the river , but I got to watch 2 bucks go at it on the opposite side on private, cool to see, then a toad of a buck flew in and ran off the 2 smaller bucks , then had like 7-10 does to himself, made for a good morning, even though I never got a glimpse of a deer on public, I was able to get a pic of the big WT buck even though he’s like a 1000 yds away and I have an older cell phone and average 10x42 you can get an idea of what I was looking at

My kid has been playing “elk camp”. This is his rig to get there. The hammer is for pounding in his tent steaks, the revolver is for when things get a little western. He usually has a chainsaw on the trailer behind the gaiter.

My son’s blind hog/acorn buck from yesterday…

Left the truck at -4 degrees, walked three mile through 10” of snow. The buck was tending a hot doe and ran out of the junipers about 100 yards from the road as we drove out.

Great clarity. Is that with a spotter? I see some shading on the edges is why I ask.
