Did some small stream dink fishing in the ‘Root this AM. Also saw one of my favorite bands this evening. But, in the spirit of the whole single photo thing, here’s the dinks-a-plenty stream.

SIL says it's the Tom Boy tunnel on Imogene...the Imogene Pass dumps into Telluride,,,begins on the west side of 550 between Silverton and Ouray

Elk will be anywhere on that hill, top 1/4 to 1/3 is public. About a mile from the house. I want to cut that 60ft blue spruce. She thinks I see plenty elk. What say you?

If going to make it a Christmas tree, may as well do some creative craft decorating, string pop corn , corn , apples , tinsel it straw ... .

Improv fish fry…. 3:30 pm, 90* and full sun. Bite was on for 20 minutes then disappeared.

Top one is 13” and my son dropped a 12” back in the lake trying to get it in the basket…

His response: “well there goes my fish sandwich!”

Can anybody ID this plant from Sunday at 12,500 ft in CO? I think it's in the genus Lewisia but I'm not 100% sure.
