Sunday Pic of the Day

May not look like much of a picture to most folk, but a loft full of hay means a weekend well spent and a lot of sleepless nights averted.

It also means my arms get a bit ripped up, but a lot better than last night.View attachment 226786
Reminds me off my youth...pitching hay bales. Hot, sweaty, flies, forearms like yours, cold beer. I enjoyed it for some reason.

My "youth" is barely memorable, but I thought the youth I hired to help were pretty darn slow. Not quite like I remember. Perhaps it's always that way once one's own "youth" is well behind...

Glad you got some hay up Brent but that's far from a loft full of hay.😉
When it's completely full, there is no place to stand to take the picture. The wings hold cherry and walnut lumber at this end. At the far end, that is all hay also. It's not a huge barn. But it's MY barn.

I hear ya. We used to put up about 18,000 bales of first cutting at one point. The good old days I actually miss it believe it or not.

Wife is out of town for Father’s Day so the day was full of playground time and then the oldest daughter asked if we could go shoot our bows. It’s a good Sunday Father’s Day in my book!

Edit: she also said her muck boots were to hit for the summer so she cooled them down…
