I keep coming back to your picture. This is the type of living I always longed for. A simple cabin in the middle of nowhere. We finally built the cabin in 2005 but my wife played a strong hand in the design.

Was a neat old place. Hand dug stone stacked well/cistern, wooden “refrigerator” on the creek (dry bed now). The wife was passing by the house and a yearling angus heifer stuck her head out the window. She had taken up residence lol.

Have had some folks here msg me as to where these wolves were at so thought I’d post it here. If you’re familiar with central Oregon they were due west of Terrebonne. Thought is that they moved south from the White River pack which is NW of Madras.
Hope they keep right on going
