Raw firewood delivered for me to cut, split, stack, store, and move umteen times. It makes for an ache-inducing upper body workout routine ... with reward during subzero weather.

Would seem like the smarter thing to do versus driving around looking for 4-5 dead trees within 100 yds of the road.
Two days ago I got creative and made a two log bridge over a small creek to access some trees visible from a paved road. THAT was a score in my book.

Damn allergies were acting up on me this morning.

My two started 2nd and 3rd grade yesterday. First time I've missed their first day of school. Wife sent pics.

This poor little fellow won’t survive the fall. Hanging out in heavy grizzly country and 100 yards from a trailhead parking lot. Stalked to within 30 yards with a 6 y/o and a 9 y/o wearing bright clothing. Poor guy! I’ll pray for him.

Went to look at a couple chunks of state land for possible speed goat hunting, they didn’t pan out but I did see 22 bulls all in velvet with 4-5 cows
Pics a little blurry but they were out there a bit , wasn’t able to fit the whole herd in the frame
